The Department of Art History, University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor specializing in the arts of 18/19th century Europe, to start July 1, 2019. We seek a scholar whose work emphasizes methodological innovation as well as connections between Europe and other geographies, and who is interested in crossfield collaboration within the department and the university. Ph.D. in hand at time of appointment required. We especially welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
