ACLS has launched the ninth annual Mellon/ACLS Public Fellows competition. This year, the program will place up to 21 recent humanities PhDs in two-year positions at the nonprofit and government organizations listed below. Fellows will participate in the core work of these partner organizations and will have access to professional and peer mentoring. Each fellowship carries a stipend of $68,000 per year, as well as health insurance, a relocation stipend, and $3,000 toward professional development activities. The program is made possible by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
