The Art, Music and Theater (ATM) Fund supports visual and performing arts programming at the ASECS Annual Meeting. Although the 2021 Meeting will be online, we hope to have an arts component for members to enjoy and learn from.
If you are interested in organizing an arts event or activity for the Annual Meeting, please prepare a description of the event and explain how ASECS members would be able to attend or participate. Your creative suggestions are eagerly invited. Will it be an online art exhibit, a live-streamed musical performance, a Zoomed dance lesson, maybe a viewing party!? If the event requires financial support, include a budget with your proposal. ASECS members may not be paid honoraria for participating in conference events, but the ATM Fund can be used to cover travel, equipment or space rental, supplies, or honoraria for non-members who are participating in activities outside the formal program of the Meeting.
Up to $2,000 is available to support arts programming. More than one project may be approved, with funds allocated accordingly. The deadline to submit your proposal to the ASECS Business Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) is December 11, 2020.
